Lead Accountant

Role of the Lead Accountant:

• Accounts payable including use tax accrual
• Month end GL close
• Year-end GL Close
• Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Financial Statement preparation and analysis
• Annual budget assistance
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and fellow employees
• Provide support during external audits
• Potential to learn other roles as part of the accounting team

What we are looking for:

• Accounting degree and 3-5 years experience. Healthcare experience preferred.
• Accounts payable experience including vendor statement reconciliation
• Financial statement prep and analysis experience
• Knowledge of computerized accounting software, specifically GP Dynamics
• Highly detail oriented, and excellent organization and time management skills are essential as this position is extremely self-directed
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills are a must
